Pierpaolo Parrotta is Full Professor at University of Siena. Before, he was Full Professor at IESEG School of Management (Lille), and permanent member of LEM. He received his PhD in Economics from Aarhus Business School (Aarhus University, Denmark) in 2011.
He is an external research fellow at IZA (Institute for Study of Labor), NoCeT (Norwegian Center for Taxation), ROA (Research Centre for Education and the Labour Market) and GLO (Global Labor Organization) and he is currently working on labor mobility, gender gap and unemployment.
Interests: applied econometrics, environmental economics, crime economics, human resource management, industrial organisation, labour economics, international trade, and public economics.
